Jul 23, 2008 - i, well not me, am in, my friend is, the WAR beta. i have played it. i know its just a beta, (not many bugs though)[thumbs up to them], but its the worst game i have ever played. i was really looking forward to it. i thought it looked it awesome. but man alive. not only is the gameplay totally awful; it looks even worse than wow, which is several years old and didn't even look good when it came out. that in itself is an accomplishment. the game play is atrocious. its no fun at all.

Jul 23, 2008 - thats pretty true.. most people who will quit WoW for these other games are those who don't really play wow to its full extent.. meaning knowing how the game works and ways to get around in it, so they try to start over in another mmorpg. If you have an arena rating of 2k+ then you know what I mean.

Jul 23, 2008 - podcasts and the actual gameplay are completly different, I'm in beta. The combat system is the worst combat system I have seen in a long time, they are not even close to being able to release it, I think they need another year to work on it AT LEAST. it's a horrible game right now.

Jul 23, 2008 - you cant really move around in pvp too often without making yourself open or you cant attack, it feels too stale and boring. there hardly is any kind of "kiting" that can happen. It feels lacking and empty. They made it way too slow, i feel like they will need more then half a year to re-work it, not polish it, Its true blizz took all of WAR's ideas, but WoW made it FIRST.. and now WAR will suffer because they were too slow.
